Don't let a good opportunity pass you by.
Bike racks on cars or caravans can be obtrusive and sometimes obstruct access. Then there is the worry that the bike will not be thee when you get back!
These problems mean that you may not like to take your bike with you all the time, where as if the bike was packed into the boot or van, you'll never miss another opportunity for a relaxing ride or vigorous work out.
